Charlotte Emma Aitchison, professionally known as Charli XCX, is a notable English singer and songwriter born on August 2, 1992, in Cambridge. Raised in Start Hill, Essex, she began her musical journey by uploading songs to Myspace in 2008. This early exposure led to her being discovered by a promoter, who subsequently invited her to perform at warehouse raves. By 2010, Charli XCX had secured a recording contract with Asylum Records, and over the next couple of years, she released a variety of singles and mixtapes, steadily building her presence in the music industry.
